About WWF

പ്രകൃതിയുടെ സം‍രക്ഷണം, ഗവേഷണം, പുനരുദ്ധാരണം എന്നിവക്കുവേണ്ടി തുടങ്ങിയ ഒരു അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര സംഘടനയാണ്‌ വേൾഡ് വൈഡ് ഫണ്ട് ഫോർ നേച്ചർ (World Wide Fund for Nature) അഥവാ ഡബ്ല്യു ഡബ്ല്യു എഫ് (WWF). 1961 സെപ്റ്റംബർ 11-ന് സ്വിറ്റ്സർലൻഡിലെ മോർഗിലാണ് ഈ സംഘടനയുടെ പിറവി. വേൾഡ് വൈൽഡ്‌ലൈഫ് ഫണ്ട് (World Wildlife Fund) എന്നായിരുന്നു ആദ്യനാമം. 1986-ലാണ് ഡബ്ല്യു.ഡബ്ല്യു.എഫ് (WWF) എന്ന ചുരുക്കപ്പേര് തന്നെ നിലനിർത്താവുന്ന തരത്തിൽ ‘വേൾഡ് വൈഡ് ഫണ്ട് ഫോർ നേച്ചർ’ എന്ന് പുനർനാമകരണം ചെയ്യപ്പെടുന്നത്.

Eligibility

• Students from Indian and Foreign Institutions and Universities.
• Students pursuing final year under-graduate (Bachelors course) and students pursuing post-graduate (Masters Course) courses.
• Others interested in an internship with WWF-India may apply too.

How to apply

• താൽപ്പര്യമുള്ള ഉദ്യോഗാർത്ഥികൾ ഒരു ഫോട്ടോ ഐഡി പ്രൂഫ് സഹിതം ഒരു അപേക്ഷാ ഫോം (link is given below)പൂരിപ്പിച്ച് അപേക്ഷിക്കണം
• ഇന്റേൺഷിപ്പ് നിലവിലുള്ള ഒരു അക്കാദമിക് കോഴ്‌സിന്റെ ഭാഗമാണെങ്കിൽ, അപേക്ഷകൻ യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റി/കോളേജിൽ നിന്നുള്ള ശുപാർശ സഹിതം അപേക്ഷ സമർപ്പിക്കണം. ശുപാർശ കത്ത് ഇല്ലാതെ ലഭിക്കുന്ന അപേക്ഷകൾ സ്വീകരിക്കുന്നതല്ല.
• ഇന്റേൺഷിപ്പിന്റെ കാലാവധി (ആരംഭിക്കുന്നതും അവസാനിക്കുന്ന തീയതിയും) വ്യക്തമായി സൂചിപ്പിക്കണം.
• നിശ്ചിത ഫോർമാറ്റിലുള്ള പൂരിപ്പിച്ച അപേക്ഷാ ഫോം mail ചെയ്യുക . mail id : internships@wwfindia.net

Stipend

• WWF-India will not pay a stipend to students who are pursuing the internship as part of their completion of studies (academic courses).
• However, others interested in an internship with WWF-India, may be paid stipend based on their experience.
