The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) invites applications from students pursuing Graduation, LLB, Masters, or Integrated Courses (such as BBALLB, B. Com LLB, BALLB, etc.) in relevant fields such as Human Rights, to apply for the Short-term Internship program. This program provides valuable exposure to the workings of NHRC and allows students to interact with various divisions, gaining practical insight into human rights complaints and processes.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Students pursuing Graduation, LLB, Masters, or Integrated Courses (e.g., BBALLB, B. Com LLB, BALLB) in relevant fields.
- Maximum age limit: 28 years as of 01/01/2025.
- Applicants who have previously completed an internship with NHRC are not eligible for this internship.

Application Process:
- Prepare Required Documents (in PDF format, max size 2 MB, and Passport size photo in JPEG format, max size 70 KB):
- X class certificate
- XII class certificate and mark sheet
- Graduation certificate and mark sheet (if completed)
- Mark sheet of the last exam
- I-Card of the current institution
- Recommendation letter from the Principal/Dean/HoD
- Application Steps:
- Verify your mobile number and email ID by entering the OTP.
- Complete the online form, filling in all mandatory fields (marked with *), including personal details, educational qualifications, and Statement of Purpose (SOP) within 250 words.
- Upload all required documents.
- Submit your application. Once submitted, you will receive an Application Number for future reference.
Important Notes:
- The application must be submitted through the official online form. Applications submitted via any other mode will not be entertained.
- Ensure accuracy in your academic details, as discrepancies (such as marks/CGPA/percentage) will lead to disqualification and barring from future NHRC programs.

Internship Duration: This is a short-term internship offering students a chance to be part of NHRC’s operations for 15 days. It provides an excellent opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience and understand the functioning of the Commission.
